Directory

Welcome to The History Project 'Directory'!

Most folk are busy people these days, and in this 'information-based' age of technology, we soon learn to appreciate having a convenient way of searching for specific information. This Directory is designed for you to be able to find any cat listed on our site, that has either a completed history profile, (indicated with an asterisk*) or at the very least, a Fact-file listing.

Fact-files will contain an image of the cat, plus confirmation of name, date of birth, registration, sire and dam, as well as the names of breeder and/or owner, and a mini-pedigree. Of course, we can only provide information that is readily available, from a very long list of published registers, and from privately donated resources, specifically provided for historical purposes.

The listing is alphabetical, showing name, colour, breed, and date of birth, in that order.

To the right of the Directory listings, you will find images featuring a cat, and/or an example of historic feline art. Simply click on the image, to be taken straight to a completed history page, so that you may read more about it.

Additional photos of cats not yet included in this directory, may be found in our GALLERIES section. Links to all the Breed Galleries, are to be found at the bottom of this page.

Enjoy your journey!
